• You control the cost: The final price depends on the size of your move, how well items are prepared, and how accessible your locations are.
• No flat-rate markups: Unlike full-service movers who often inflate fixed prices, our hourly model ensures you only pay for what you need.
• More transparency: We track the time from arrival to completion—no surprise charges.
• Number of items or boxes
• Distance between locations
• Stairs, elevators, or long walking distances
• How ready everything is when we arrive (pre-packed = faster move)

We provide standard protection for items we handle. However, for moves requiring building insurance or Certificates of Insurance (COI), please let us know in advance so we can assist.
At DMV Moving Help, our team takes every precaution to handle your belongings with care. While we are not a national moving carrier, we do provide standard coverage for the items we handle during your local move.
This includes:
• Basic protection against damage caused during loading or unloading
• Optional protective materials (e.g. blankets, stretch wrap) to minimize risk
• Clear communication about any concerns during the move
However, we do not currently carry full-value replacement insurance or general liability coverage often required by commercial buildings. If your building requires a Certificate of Insurance (COI), or you’re seeking additional coverage, we recommend checking with your renter’s or homeowner’s insurance provider ahead of time.
Have questions about coverage? Just ask—we’re happy to walk you through it.
